HSTMAP: A freeware Macintosh Application
Want to know where HST is? HSTMAP, a Macintosh application program can tell you, and it's yours for the asking. HSTMAP shows the instantaneous position of HST, either in real-time, or for a specified time and date projected on a map of the Earth. Also shown is the terminator, day and night regions of the earth, sub-solar point (local noon), sub-vernal equinoctial point (longitude at 0h U.T), HST current ground track (starting at the ascending node of the orbit) and next two ground tracks, one of several SAA models (model "05" - the SAA performance model is illustrated above), the TDRSS Zone of Exclusion, and a text window which is self explanatory.
